Full-Time Window Teller Opportunities

Openwork, in partnership with the Harris County Tax Office, is seeking motivated individuals to join as Window Tellers. This position offers the chance to contribute to your community while building a reliable and rewarding career in public service.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (occasional Saturdays, with flexibility across nearby offices)

• Pay: $15.00/hour, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional assistance to residents

• Accurately process payments and transactions

• Manage and review official documents with attention to detail

• Support office operations and team functions

• Ensure reliable, consistent customer service

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of recent customer service experience, including cash handling (retail, banking, or similar)

• Typing speed of 30+ WPM and strong math skills

• High school diploma or GED required (from an accredited U.S. institution)

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Clear communication and strong customer service mindset

• Spanish bilingual ability is highly valued

Additional Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass a background check, including City, State, and National Criminal history, drug screening, and verification of education and employment.
