Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable and experienced Weekend Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Pendergrass. In this hands-on and high-impact role, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to safely load and unload trucks, move inventory, and support overall warehouse efficiency. In a Sit-Down Forklift Operator job, you’ll be responsible for:
Safely operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers
Transporting materials and products throughout the warehouse
Staging pallets in designated areas for shipping or storage
Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting any issues
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Following all safety procedures and company policies
Collaborating with warehouse and shipping/receiving teams for efficient workflow
What you’ll need:
6 months to 1 year of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of inventory systems and safety protocols
Strong attention to detail and reliability
