Openwork is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate for a well-established Houston company that has served the law enforcement industry since 1971. Location: Houston, TX 77023
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
What You'll Be Doing
- Handle daily shipping and receiving activities
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, and accuracy
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organized stock locations
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Enter and update inventory information using Microsoft Excel and Great Plains
- Maintain accurate labels, inventory locations, and warehouse storage areas
- Coordinate with warehouse team members and vendors to keep operations running efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 2+ years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience required
- Strong inventory control experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Great Plains required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required
- Ability to remain active throughout the workday
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
