Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Warehouse Lead for a well-established company in the solar energy industry, located in South Austin. In this role, you’ll oversee a team of 30+ warehouse employees, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining organization, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. As a Warehouse Lead/Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Overseeing and leading a team of 30+ warehouse & technicians

• Organizing and maintaining an efficient, clean, and safe warehouse environment

• Motivating and coaching employees to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals

• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues

• Working directly with the Operations Manager to streamline processes and improve efficiency

• Managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures

• Assisting with reporting, warehouse, scheduling, and performance evaluations

What you’ll need:

• 3-6+ years of warehouse experience in leadership

• 3-6+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a large team

• Proven ability to maintain organization and meet operational deadlines

• Experience working with vendors, logistics, and inventory management systems

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
