Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Warehouse Lead in Monticello, GA. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and safe material handling. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a Warehouse Lead job, you’ll be responsible for:
Lead and support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
Supervise and train warehouse associates to ensure productivity, accuracy, and safety compliance
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet production and customer deadlines
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
Ensure proper handling and storage of packaging materials and finished goods
Enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and OSHA compliance
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Communicate effectively with production, logistics, and management teams
Assist the Warehouse Manager with scheduling, performance monitoring, and reporting
What you’ll need:
MUST have previous experience as a warehouse lead or supervisor.
MUST have manufacturing experience.
Must live within a 40-mile radius from Monticello.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
Experience in plastics is a PLUS.
