Now Hiring: Warehouse Associate - Direct Hire
Location: Houston, TX | 77032 (Near IAH)
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: 

• 2 Afternoon Shifts | 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• 2 Overnight Shifts | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Openwork is currently seeking a dependable Warehouse Lead for a well-established company opening a new location in Houston. Our client has 29+ locations across the U.S. and has been in business for 60 years.

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Inspect and check returned materials
• Oversee a team of 20+ people
• Lead team briefings at beginning of shift 
• Follow established quality SOPs to ensure returned materials are properly categorized for further processing including return to stock, refurbishment, cleaning or disposal
• Building various flight kits for United airlines
• Receiving and Sending out laundry (Not washing laundry) 
• Maintain accurate records of all materials processed
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to standard
• Track, record, maintain logs containing basic written report of work performed.
• Ability push, pull, and lift to 50lbs, stand on your feet for 8 hour or more.

What We're Looking For:

• Must demonstrate responsible work habits and satisfy all pre-employment requirements
• 1-2 years of warehouse lead experience  
• Sit down forklift experience is a plus 
• Someone with a positive attitude who enjoys growing other people would be a great match for this position
• Effective communication and listening skills 
• 1-2 Years of work experience in a warehouse
