Openwork is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities Support candidate for an industrial facility in East Downtown Houston.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable performing physical work, operating a forklift, and maintaining a clean and safe industrial environment. Bilingual English/Spanish and previous facilities or industrial experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean large industrial floor areas
• Mop floors using industrial cleaning equipment
• Break down and dispose of boxes, crates, and heavy trash
• Operate a forklift to safely move materials and waste
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with other facility support duties as needed

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required
• Previous facilities, warehouse, industrial, or similar experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle heavier materials
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Ability to climb stairs as needed
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must be able to work safely in an industrial environment
• Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment
