Openwork is hiring a Warehouse Helper for a growing industrial company in the East End of the Houston area. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Helper will assist with daily warehouse operations, including material handling, forklift operation, shipping and receiving, and general housekeeping. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, is safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Forklift experience required
• Reach truck experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to safety

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely move drums and other materials
• Bag and prepare materials for shipment
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay

• $17.00 per hour
