Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator for a well-established company located in North Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, parts ordering, shipping, receiving, packaging, and coordinating both domestic and international shipments. You’ll also support sales operations by working with customer portals, printing labels, and ensuring orders are processed accurately. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment. 

As a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ordering parts and coordinating materials for service and warehouse operations

  • Receiving incoming shipments, inspecting products, and properly organizing inventory

  • Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records and storage locations

  • Performing inventory counts and data entry to ensure system accuracy

  • Picking, packaging, labeling, and preparing parts and products for shipment

  • Safely handling and moving large and heavy products throughout the warehouse

  • Operating a sit-down forklift to move products and packages

  • Coordinating domestic and international shipments, including FedEx International shipments

  • Preparing service products for overseas shipment for servicing, repairs, or customer needs

  • Coordinating shipments of new products and service materials to customers

  • Preparing shipping labels and documentation while following customer-specific requirements

  • Supporting the sales side of the business by working with customer portals and printing labels

  • Learning and following customer-specific shipping and portal requirements

  • Entering and maintaining accurate information in ERP and inventory systems

  • Utilizing Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications for daily communication and organization

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

  • Communicating with the Service Manager, sales, service, operations, customers, and shipping partners to meet changing priorities

  • Supporting general warehouse and logistics operations as needed

  • Following all company safety, warehouse, shipping, and material-handling procedures

What you’ll need:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a warehouse coordinator, lead, logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or a related field

  • Experience with domestic and international shipping preferred

  • Experience handling, packaging, and moving large or heavy products

  • Must be comfortable operating a sit-down forklift

  • Strong inventory management and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience with data entry and maintaining detailed records

  • Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook (must)
  • Must be comfortable using a computer & data entry
  • Ability to learn and navigate customer portals

  • Strong logistics and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals who have different working styles

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Commitment to safe warehouse and material-handling practices

  • Ability to work in a hands-on warehouse environment and safely handle large products

Perks:

  • Pay Rate: $27–$30 per hour, based on experience

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule
