Position: Warehouse Worker
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Location: Richardson, TX
The warehouse worker's duties include receiving, storing, and distributing supplies, equipment, and textbooks to schools and departments. They load and unload trucks, pick up and deliver items, and maintain warehouse records. The job also involves inventory management, operating warehouse equipment like forklifts, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Receiving and stocking: Receive, inspect, mark, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, reporting any discrepancies.
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for schools and departments based on requisitions.
- Distribution: Load and unload trucks, and deliver items to and from school campuses and District locations.
- Inventory management: Assist with running inventories, conducting reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records.
- Equipment operation: Operate a fork lift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to move and store goods.
- General tasks: Assist with moving furniture, removing obsolete materials, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED is typically preferred.
- MUST HAVE A VALID TX DRIVERS LICENSE
- Previous warehouse experience is often preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use hand tools, operate a forklift, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
