Warehouse Associate / Unloader
Location: Troy, NC
Pay: $15/hr
Openwork is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Unloader for a growing warehouse and distribution operation in Troy, NC. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, stocking materials, moving inventory throughout the facility, and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload rugs, materials, and other products safely and efficiently
- Move inventory throughout the warehouse and storage areas
- Stock materials in designated locations
- Prepare products for shipment and assist with order fulfillment
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, loading, unloading, or material handling experience preferred
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to safely handle large, bulky products
