Openwork is seeking an experienced HVAC Warehouse & Equipment Technician for a growing operation in the Houston area. This first-shift opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional who combines strong forklift and heavy inventory experience with hands-on HVAC system knowledge.

This is not an entry-level role. While training will be provided on company-specific equipment, candidates must already have working knowledge of HVAC systems and machines.

Position Overview

In this role, you will support warehouse operations while handling HVAC equipment, materials, and components. Your expertise will ensure proper material flow, equipment handling, and operational accuracy within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently

• Manage and transport heavy HVAC equipment and bulk inventory

• Load, unload, and stage materials for production or shipment

• Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and stock verification

• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace

• Apply working knowledge of HVAC machines during material handling and support tasks

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift operation experience

• 2+ years of heavy inventory and inventory control experience

• Hands-on HVAC experience is required

• HVAC certification strongly preferred

• EPA certification required

• Working knowledge of HVAC machines and components

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic

Compensation & Opportunity
