Test Operator (Data Servers)

Pay: $18.50–$20.50/hr
Shift & Pay:
- 1st Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | $18.50/hr
- 2nd Shift: 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM | $20.50/hr
Job Summary:
Openwork is seeking a Test Operator to support testing and troubleshooting of data server systems. This role suits candidates with hands-on technical experience and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems.
- Set up and test more complex systems and mechanical assemblies.
- Follow Test Process Instructions (TPI).
- Interpret Statements of Work (SOW) to determine test specifications, methods, and procedures.
- Complete rework on assemblies and systems as needed.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
- Assist with unpacking, packaging, labeling, and crating as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of related experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Familiarity with computer components and proper (ESD-safe) handling.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working on ladders or stools.
- High school diploma or GED required.
