Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Technician to join a growing Washer Service Team in the North Austin area. In this role, you’ll be working alongside experienced technicians to service and maintain commercial washing machines in restaurants. As a Technician/Trainee, you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting technicians with the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial washing machines

• Loading, unloading, and moving equipment and tools

• Hnds-on technical skills from experienced team members

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

• Supporting delivery, installation, and general field operations

• Demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the trade

What you’ll need:

• 3–4+ years of technician experience

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (no pending tickets)

• Ability to pass a clean background check

• Bilingual candidates encouraged

• CDL Class A/B/C is a strong plus (waives testing requirement for CDL C)

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

• Comfortable working in restaurant environments

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Desire to grow into a technician role

Perks:

• Starting pay of $20/hour

• Career Growth Opportunities: Within 2-6months, if eligible for a base salary of $55,000 + commissions. Able to get promoted to technician as soon as 2-6months. (Once CDL License has been passed)

• Most first-year employees earn $60,000–$80,000

• CDL License C will be provided/paid for. Study materials will be provided

• Great company & culture to work for!

• Full-time; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Rotating weekends.
