Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Technician for a service company located in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for traveling to client sites across the Austin area to perform maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and deliver outstanding service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working independently, driving a daily route, and building strong client relationships.

As a Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

• Visiting client locations throughout Austin to perform service and maintenance

• Performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment

• Managing an assigned route and ensuring timely service visits

• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing on-site solutions

• Driving a company box truck to and from client sites

• Maintaining accurate service records and reporting updates to management

• Delivering excellent customer service and representing the company with professionalism

What you’ll need:

• 1–3 years of relevant technician, maintenance, or mechanical experience

• Class A or B license preferred (will be driving a box truck)

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of your route

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on troubleshooting

• Valid driver’s license with a reasonably clean driving record

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Customer service experience a plus (but not required)
