Our client is a top structural design firm with a focus on foundation and framing for residential and light commercial roles.
They are seeking to add a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to their team with compensation at $90K-$150K, depending on experience.
This role is DIRECT-HIRE (PERM), with FULL BENEFITS available. This position is located in Fort Worth (North Area) and does require onsite attendance.
*This role does require a BACHELOR’S DEGREE and current EIT or PE standing. This role requires relevant experience in RESIDENTIAL structural or LIGHT COMMERCIAL structural.*
The Expectations:
Lead structural design for residential and light commercial projects, with a focus on foundations and framing systems (wood, steel, and concrete).
Prepare, review, and seal structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with applicable building codes and standards.
Conduct site investigations and structural inspections; evaluate existing structures and develop repair or retrofit solutions.
Serve as Engineer of Record on select projects, taking responsibility for technical accuracy and code compliance.
Coordinate directly with clients, architects, contractors, and local jurisdictions in a highly collaborative two-engineer firm environment.
Manage projects from proposal through construction administration, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
Support business development through client relationships, repeat work, and proposal preparation.
The Experience Needed:
Structural Design – Residential and Light Commercial Experience, REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree, REQUIRED
EIT or PE Status, REQUIRED
