Join a leading Chemical Plant as a Senior Process Engineer and play a vital role in advancing innovative chemical manufacturing processes! You will lead process optimization, support new product scale-up, and ensure compliance—making a significant impact on operations and your professional growth.

What you'll do:

  • Drive process improvements to achieve production goals, increase efficiency, and ensure quality.
  • Manage daily updates of the Distributed Control System (DCS) and develop recipes from lab to plant scale.
  • Collaborate on special projects, capital investments, and safety initiatives with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Support environmental, health, and safety programs to maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
  • Participate in process hazard analysis (HAZOP) studies to enhance safety and process reliability.
  • Assist in scaling up new products to ensure smooth and effective transitions.
  • Contribute to strategic goals, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably with polymers.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processing, control systems, piping, and equipment.
  • Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with high-performance polymer production.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience conducting safety and process hazard analyses (HAZOP).

Other Requirements:

  • Willing to participate in safety initiatives and audits.
  • Ability to coordinate with maintenance for repairs, turnaround planning, and safety improvements.
  • Commitment to compliance with company policies and environmental standards.

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $135,000 plus a sign-on bonus.
