Senior IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide advanced, hands-on technical assistance for our office infrastructure, focusing heavily on our Windows 11 ecosystem, finance tools, and database applications. This role requires an experienced professional to handle high-level, in-person troubleshooting of desktop hardware, local networks, and critical office software
Core Responsibilities
- Advanced Support: Deliver expert face-to-face technical help and handle escalated, complex hardware and software issues at employee desks.
- OS & App Management: Install, configure, and optimize Windows 11 environments, Microsoft Outlook client setups, and advanced email profiles.
- Financial Software Care: Maintain, patch, and troubleshoot QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions, including managing multi-user company file connectivity and server hosting.
- Database Administration: Provide front-end user assistance, manage security permissions, and maintain network connectivity for our FileMaker databases.
- Infrastructure Setup: Oversee workspace hardware deployment, including desktops, dual monitors, docking stations, and office networks for new hires.
- Conference Room Tech: Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot in-room video conferencing setups, projectors, smart screens, and audio equipment
- Asset & Inventory: Manage and audit physical IT assets, license compliance, spare laptops, cables, and server room equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional IT support experience in a fast-paced environment.
- OS Expertise: Deep operational and architecture-level troubleshooting knowledge of Windows 11.
- Email & Productivity: Expert-level familiarity with Microsoft Outlook configuration, registry-level fixes, PST/OST recovery, and mailbox integrations.
- Specialized Software: Hands-on experience deploying and supporting QuickBooks Enterprise and FileMaker database environments.
- Physical Hardware: Proficiency with physical PC hardware builds, local network cabling, switches, and workplace printer hardware.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting & Moving: Ability to lift and move computer towers, heavy monitors, UPS backups, and server equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Mobility: Capability to bend, crawl under desks to manage cables, and climb ladders to service ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi routers. [13, 14]
