Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Production Graphic Artist familiar in the Printing/Sign Shop industry. In this fast-paced, prepress role, you will be responsible for taking a customer's vision and designing or perfecting artwork. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
In this Leading Production Graphic Artist role you will:
- Complete and finalize designs for prepress/press process.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to edit and complete designs within reasonable time to meet deadlines.
- Operating vinyl plotters, Roland digital presses, CNC routers and other printing equipment.
- Set up and recalibrate production equipment.
- Prepare materials for production.
- Assist with packaging and labeling finished products.
- Ensure consistent product quality.
- Assist design team with their projects and designs
- Manage and train team to build on quality and production successfully
- Assist with other tasks as needed.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of previous work experience in graphic design, print press and production is REQUIRED!
- Adobe Creative Suite, especially in Illustrator and Photoshop and Mac workstation is REQUIRED!
- Prepress and Machine operation experience required
- Flexo Prepress experience required
- Strong design and production experience
- Previous experience in a design leadership role preferred
- Proficiency with math and ability to multitask
- Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are a must!
- Must work with a sense of urgency – role is hands-on.
- Ability to lift up-to 50lbs repeatedly.

$23.00 - 25.00+/hr. (depending on experience)
