Openwork is seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Quality Systems Manager to oversee food safety programs, quality assurance, training, and sanitation at our Macon facility. What You’ll Do:

• Lead the food safety & quality assurance programs as our SQF Practitioner and HACCP Team Chair.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and R&D on new product launches, improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Oversee ingredient and finished product specifications, supplier approvals, and document control.

• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

• Develop and deliver training on food safety and related programs.

• Manage sanitation operations and approve necessary supplies, equipment, and ingredients.

• Prepare for and manage third-party food safety audits.

• Stay ahead in your field through workshops, professional publications, and industry networking.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or equivalent industry experience.

• Background in the food industry with quality supervisory experience.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work across departments.

• Limited travel flexibility.
