Meador an Openwork Company is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Silk Screen Printer to join a growing manufacturing team in La Porte, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in learning or expanding their skills in screen printing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up screens, inks, and printing equipment
- Load materials such as shirts, panels, and other products onto printing machines
- Align designs for accurate placement and color registration
- Mix inks to match required colors
- Operate manual and automatic screen-printing equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality, alignment, and print accuracy
- Clean and maintain screens, squeegees, presses, and other equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous screen printing experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with equipment
- Good color vision and ability to distinguish color variations
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive, hands-on work
- Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills
- Reliable with a positive work ethic
