Pay: $18 - $19 per hour | Contract to Hire opportunity
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (As late as 4:30pm if needed)
Overtime: As needed based on business needs

Openwork is seeking an experienced Shipping Specialist to join a hands-on manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Shipping experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Material Handling & Warehouse Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport raw materials, completed assemblies, and parts throughout the facility using forklifts, hand trucks, or overhead equipment.
• Build and assemble crates for shipping 

• Order Preparation & Packaging: Retrieve inventory based on work orders and assemble kits for production; package, secure, or crate heavy industrial components for transport.

• Shipment & Document Management: Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and Bills of Lading (BOLs); match shipments against POs and packing lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.

• Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts, update inventory data in the ERP system, and report any stock discrepancies to management.

• Quality & Safety Compliance: Inspect incoming/outgoing freight for damage, adhere to company safety policies, maintain a clean workspace.

What We're Looking For

• Must have experience building crates, wood framing or in carpentry 
• Must have forklift experience 
• Must be able to read tape measure
• Overhead crane experience is a plus 

Work Environment

• Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• Industrial noise levels requiring participation in a hearing conservation program
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and remain active throughout the scheduled shift
• Must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs
