Shipping Coordinator
Schedule: Monday ā Friday 7:00 AM ā 5:00 PM Pay: $18.00 ā $20.00 per hour Type: Direct Hire Location: Near NRG Stadium Job Description A distribution and manufacturing company in the piping industry is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join their team. This position is responsible for supporting warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and shipped on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination within a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
Review, organize, and process domestic and export shipping orders
Coordinate shipment schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment
Assist with repackaging and inventory-related shipping activities
Communicate with warehouse, shipping, and sales teams regarding order status and logistics issues
Utilize shipping systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office programs
Resolve shipping discrepancies and assist with logistics coordination
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or shipping coordination experience required
Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Comfortable learning and navigating new computer systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
