Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a Shipping Clerk. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
Responsibilities:
Fills orders using pick ticket.
Reads work order and follows packing instructions.
Chooses type of boxes or flat box to use for safe shipping.
Uses a computer for labeling packages and tagging customer parts.
Packs shim coils, shim packs, flat packs, and master packs for inventory.
Prints out color coated label to distinguish material type.
Uses a scale counter, table scale, and floor scale.
Operates rotating table top for stretch wrapping pallets.
Is able to use an electric tape machine and hand held tape gun.
Matches Purchase Orders to receiving papers to check in all products inbound.
Qualifications:
Customer service skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to use Manufacturing & Inventory Software.
Experience with Excel, Word, & Outlook.
The ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
Sit-down forklift experience.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm
