Meador Staffing, an Openwork company, is searching for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate. This computer-savvy, full time, temp to hire position offers growth once permanent. Apply for this position if you have forklift and jib crane experience.

 

What you’ll do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate:

Receive trucks and unload parts and equipment

Move equipment for assembly staging

Proficiently use of ERP system to enter shipping and receiving data

Review documentation for received goods against purchase orders

Package equipment for shipping

Ensure shipping documentation is complete and that required paperwork is included with customer orders

Compile inventory balances

Sort materials according to inventory labeling system

Execute general shop maintenance: storage, shop and equipment clean up

Ensure forklifts are charged and fueled

Performing shipments and receipts of goods and outside services.

Log, inspect count and verify product in accordance with written and learned practices.  

Accurate data entry and paperwork maintenance is critical.

Responsible for the safety of self, others and reporting all work-related injuries or equipment damages.

Any other tasks deemed necessary by shop supervisor or managment.

 

What you’ll need:

High School Diploma or equivalent 

5 - 10 years of Shipping and Receiving experience

Computer savvy and knowledge of ERP systems required

Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, overhead crane and other related material handling equipment

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, and other employees

Ability to lift 35-50 lbs. on a regular basis

Previous experience with documentation and scanning tasks

Must be available to work overtime when needed

Driver’s license must be active (not expired/no restrictions) - Required!

 

Perks:

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

$23 - $25/hour - Depending on experience

Full-time temp to hire!

Health, Dental, Vision, Holidays and PTO available upon permanent hire!
