We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to join a growing warehouse operation in the Baytown area. This position is for a new facility, and initial training will be conducted at another warehouse location. The ideal candidate has previous shipping & receiving experience along with leadership experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Oversee inventory storage, documentation, and material movement
- Lead and support forklift operators and warehouse personnel
- Participate in loading, unloading, and staging of materials
- Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization
- Prepare reports and communicate through email and Microsoft Office
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Support daily operations and assist management as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous Shipping & Receiving experience required
- Prior warehouse, production, or logistics leadership experience preferred
- Forklift experience required (must be able to pass forklift certification)
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift 55–100 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Location: Baytown, TX
Pay: $20/hr
Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
