Openwork is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Operator to join a warehouse team in Baytown, TX. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle materials while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and shipments.

• Receive, handle, and organize incoming materials.

• Prepare and ship finished products to customers.

• Pack orders, close cartons, and prepare materials for shipment using departmental equipment.

• Handle internal warehouse materials and assist with inventory activities as needed.

• Inspect pallets and materials for errors, damage, or defects and report quality concerns to the Quality Manager.

• Assist with training and supporting new employees.

• Maintain an organized work area and follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.

• Forklift operating experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to double-check work for accuracy.

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to assist with inventory and other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

• Location: Baytown, TX 77523

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
