Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (depending on experience) | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Openwork is partnering with a respected industrial company to hire a dependable Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in an active, team-oriented environment.
Position Overview
In this role, you will support daily operations by receiving, handling, and shipping materials efficiently while maintaining safety and organization across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Offload materials received from vendors and ensure proper handling
- Store and organize materials in designated areas
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments
- Complete shipping documentation such as bills of lading and packing slips
- Move materials throughout the facility to support operations
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety-focused
- Work outdoors approximately 70% of the time
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
- Forklift experience required (sit-down preferred) with the ability to safely handle sensitive materials
- Experience offloading and handling vendor shipments
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling
- 2+ years of forklift experience required
- Proven reliability and strong work history
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
