Shipping & Receiving Associate (Temp-to-Hire)
Meador Staffing Services, an Openwork company, is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented warehouse professional with forklift and crane experience who is looking for long-term growth potential.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- $21.00/hour
- Full-time | Temp-to-Hire
What You’ll Do
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and jib/overhead crane safely
- Stage and move materials for production and assembly
- Enter shipping and receiving data into an ERP system
- Match incoming materials to purchase orders and documentation
- Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logs
- Keep warehouse and shop areas clean and organized
- Support general shop upkeep and material handling needs
- Ensure equipment is charged, fueled, and ready for use
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of shipping & receiving experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead/jib cranes
- ERP system experience required (data entry accuracy essential)
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 35–50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license (no restrictions or expirations)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work overtime when needed
