In this organized and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of shipping orders for Builders First Source, a leading supplier of building materials. In a Shipping Administrator job, you’ll be responsible for:

• Coordinating and processing all outgoing shipments according to company procedures.

• Preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and labels.

• Scheduling carriers and ensuring shipments are picked up and delivered on time.

• Communicating with internal departments and external vendors to resolve shipping issues.

• Maintaining accurate shipping logs and inventory records.

• Ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and safety requirements.

What you’ll need:

• Previous shipping experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficiency with shipping software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
