Location: Dallas, TX 75247
Shift: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay: $25-$34 per hour
 
Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with room to grow? We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team.

 What You'll Be Doing:
  • Preventive Maintenance:Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all sheet metal fabrication equipment to ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair:Diagnose machine malfunctions and carry out repairs promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all machines are compliant with safety standards and protocols. Identify and rectify potential safety hazards related to equipment malfunction.
  • Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect machines for signs of wear, damage, or inefficiency and address any issues found.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, including parts replaced, repairs made, and any recommendations for future actions.
  • Tools & Parts Inventory:Keep an organized inventory of tools and parts. Reorder supplies when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement:Recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated or inefficient machinery.
  • Training: Train production staff on basic machine operation and troubleshooting techniques to enhance overall production efficiency and safety.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors and operators to ensure equipment meets production needs.
  • Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with equipment manufacturers or vendors for specialized repairs, parts ordering, or warranty issues.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machine maintenance or related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years in equipment maintenance, preferably in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading and understanding machinery manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Physical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts, stand for extended periods, and work in noisy environments.
  • Certifications:Certifications in equipment maintenance, safety protocols, or related fields are a plus.
