Service/Project Coordinator Location: League City, TX Job Type: Full-Time -Direct Hire Pay: $60-78k About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Service Coordinator to join a leading provider in the marine and communication technology industry. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for service requests, coordinating work for engineers and ensuring smooth execution of repairs and maintenance for vessels, barges, and land-based systems. Key Responsibilities:
Receive and manage service requests via phone and email
Provide pricing and service details to customers
Schedule service engineers using a resource planner
Transfer accurate service information to engineers
Complete service files and hand off to administration
Send completed service reports to customers
Manage defective items with workshop, suppliers, and logistics
Assess and resolve disputes regarding services or invoices
Follow an after-hours on-call schedule as needed
Collaborate with internal departments including Purchasing, Warehouse & Logistics, Sales, Electronics Workshop, International Service, and Warranty teams
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in maritime or related industry
Knowledge of marine communication equipment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication, phone etiquette
Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
Friendly, professional, service-oriented, and able to work under pressure
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
