SAP Key User – Griffin, GA

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled and detail-oriented SAP Key User in Griffin, GA. In this collaborative and hands-on role, you will support day-to-day business operations by processing transactions in SAP, creating and maintaining production orders, assisting with SAP-related questions, and working closely with production, planning, customer service, inventory, and operations teams. This is a great opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional looking for a Monday–Friday, 1st-shift hybrid position.

In a SAP Key User job, you’ll be responsible for:

• Processing orders and business transactions within SAP

• Creating, releasing, updating, and maintaining SAP production orders

• Supporting daily SAP activities across operations, planning, manufacturing, inventory, and customer service

• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data maintained within SAP

• Assisting users with SAP questions and transaction processing

• Investigating and resolving routine SAP transaction and data issues

• Generating reports and providing information to support business operations

• Supporting inventory management, production scheduling, and order management activities

• Assisting with documentation, testing, and process improvement initiatives

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to help ensure efficient business processes

• Performing other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Mechanical Shop environment, such as a paper mill or fab shop, including experience as an engineer, supervisor, or leadsman

• Experience using SAP in a manufacturing, operations, supply chain, production planning, customer service, or related environment

• Experience processing orders, transactions, or production-related activities within SAP

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• English language proficiency

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience creating and maintaining production orders within SAP

• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, production planning, or supply chain activities

• Previous experience as an SAP Key User, SAP Coordinator, SAP Power User, or similar role

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Experience with SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), or related SAP modules
