Recruiter (Full-Cycle Recruiting)

Location: Channelview, TX
Pay: $24.00 – $33.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

Openwork is partnering with a growing organization to hire a motivated Recruiter to support hiring across manufacturing, operations, and corporate teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building talent pipelines, and driving hiring success in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades, manufacturing, and professional roles
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
• Source candidates using platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn
• Screen applicants and conduct interviews to assess qualifications
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates

Applicant Tracking & Coordination

• Manage job postings and candidate activity within an ATS (Paylocity preferred)
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication
• Maintain accurate records of candidate progress and hiring stages

Onboarding & Compliance

• Support pre-employment processes including background checks and drug screens
• Coordinate onboarding, documentation, and new hire orientation
• Ensure a smooth and professional transition for new employees

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate sources
• Prepare reports and provide updates to leadership
• Stay current on recruiting trends and best practices to improve hiring outcomes

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (manufacturing or industrial preferred)
• Experience using ATS platforms (Paylocity a plus)
• Strong sourcing experience using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
