General Purpose: The HR Recruiter is responsible for implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool
of qualified and capable talent, both employee and temporary workers, for Company.
Duties and Responsibilities: other duties may be assigned.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the recruiting/hiring process.
• Implement and facilitate all phases of the recruitment process.
• Implement and facilitate efficient and effective recruiting methods.
• Input data and maintain candidate database for recruiting.
• Daily, uses discretion and independent judgment in recruiting, to vet applications/resumes and evaluate applicant’s skills to
make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications for open positions within the company.
• Daily, uses discretion and independent judgment to make recommendations for interviews of qualified prescreened applicants
for various open positions.
• Prescreen selected applicants and provide completed pre-screen to Hiring Manager for review.
• Schedule and participate in interviews; may make recommendations.
• Ensure a clear understanding of Hiring Manager’s specific needs in applicants to assist in making the best selections.
• Ensure timely feedback to all candidates; to support a positive candidate experience.
• Coordinate and conduct Hiring Manager debrief sessions and the selection/offer process.
• Coordinate and attend both of and on-site Job Fairs to represent the company for recruitments.
• Post open positions and advertisements.
• Use creativity in recruiting methods for new employees.
• Maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities, and other recruitment sources for job postings.
• Utilize HRIT ATS (applicant tracking system) to facilitate recruiting process and maintain data integrity.
• Prepare recruiting related reports.
• Track and update job titles and descriptions within each department, on an annual basis.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
• Provide support to the HR department, where and when needed.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resources.
• Seek process improvements and additional responsibility.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.
• Good understanding of behavioral interviewing techniques.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS AX Dynamics, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communications skills.
• Decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
