Pay: $18.50 - $19 per hour | Contract to Hire opportunity
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (As late as 4:30pm if needed)
Overtime: As needed based on business needs

Openwork is seeking an experienced Receiving Specialist to join a hands-on manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Receiving experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inbound Freight & Material Intake: Unload freight trucks, flatbeds, and delivery vehicles using sit-down forklifts, hand trucks, or overhead cranes.

• ERP Data Entry: Receive and store parts and raw materials directly into the company’s ERP system (Epicor). Match packing slips against original Purchase Orders (POs) and update stock status in real time.

• Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for visual freight damage, count quantities to verify completeness, and report variances or defective items to purchasing and quality assurance.

• Material Movement & Staging: Route received components, raw steel, and industrial parts to appropriate staging racks, inventory locations, or directly to assembly lines on the manufacturing floor.

• Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts, resolve inventory discrepancies, and maintain neat, organized stockrooms following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.

What We're Looking For

• Must have forklift experience (Certification is a plus) 
• 2 years of receiving experience 
• Experience with MRP system (Material Requirements Planning)
  • Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365, Epicor, MRPeasy for example

Work Environment

• Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• Industrial noise levels requiring participation in a hearing conservation program
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and remain active throughout the scheduled shift
• Must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs
