Rail Yard Operator – Griffin, GA
Pay: $20.00/hour | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Openwork is hiring a Rail Yard Operator for a growing company in Griffin, GA! If you have experience operating heavy industrial equipment and are looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate industrial equipment to move rail cars and materials

• Perform rail movements in a safe and efficient manner

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Assist with additional yard duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience operating industrial machinery such as cranes, loaders, forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar (rail experience is a plus but not required)

• Stable work history with strong longevity in previous positions

• Comfortable working outside year-round

• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment

• Steel toe boots required

• Must be available for weekend call-ins when rail movements are needed

Weekend Call-In Perk:

When you're called in for a weekend rail movement, you're paid for a minimum of 4 hours—even if the job only takes 1 hour. That's extra earning potential for minimal time on-site!
