Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a CONTRACT-TO-HIREa QuickBooks AP/AR Specialist in the North Houston area (77036) that is eager to work. This role is ideal for someone who is an EXPERT in QuickBooks with strong full-cycle accounting support experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and customer invoicing
As a QuickBooks AP/AR Specialist you’ll be responsible for:
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Generate and send customer invoices; monitor billing accuracy
Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts
Handle collections efforts, including follow-ups on past-due accounts
Apply payments and maintain accurate customer account records
Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
Maintain and update records within QuickBooks
Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers
What you’ll need:
2+ years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (required)
Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes and general accounting principles
Perks:
$25-30/hr
