Quality Inspector

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Quality Assurance Documentation Inspector for a well-established aerospace company located in North Austin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and overseeing quality assurance documentation, inspecting parts, and ensuring strict compliance with company SOPs and industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and eager to gain expertise in a specialized aerospace niche. Multiple certifications will be provided.

As a Quality Assurance Documentation Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

• Inspecting parts and materials to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards

• Reviewing and maintaining quality assurance records and documentation for accuracy and traceability

• Ensuring all processes are followed according to strict SOPs and regulatory standards

• Assisting in internal and external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation

• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to verify quality compliance

• Identifying gaps or discrepancies in documentation or inspections and resolving them promptly

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives through accurate reporting and record-keeping

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient documentation system

• Upholding all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures

What you’ll need:

• Strong attention to detail and patience to follow strict procedures

• Ability to organize, maintain, and manage large sets of documentation

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing industries

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines

• Must be open to operating a forklift to move packages around the warehouse 2–4 times per week (training provided; prior experience not required)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
