Quality Control Inspector – Charlotte, NC

Our partner in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed inspection work, consistency, and a clean, organized production environment.

About the Role

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting yarn, thread, and textile products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. This role involves visual inspection, measurement, documentation, and communication with production teams to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect yarn, thread, or textile products for defects such as inconsistent thickness, knots, color variation, loose fibers, contamination, or damaged spools

  • Measure and test product specifications (strength, weight, texture, dye consistency, dimensions, moisture levels, etc.)

  • Pull samples from production runs for quality testing

  • Record inspection results and maintain quality logs or computer records

  • Compare products against company standards and customer specifications

  • Report defects to supervisors and production teams

  • Remove or segregate defective material

  • Follow safety procedures and manufacturing quality standards

  • Assist with process improvement and troubleshooting recurring quality issues

Required Qualifications

  • MUST have previous Quality Control experience in manufacturing, textiles, or a similar production environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Basic math and documentation skills

  • Ability to lift materials (up to 25–50 lbs)

Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Pay: $22/hr
