Support the Purchasing Team by processing and maintaining procurement data within CAPPS and electronic purchasing systems
Prepare, review, track, and expedite purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing
Coordinate bid and procurement activities, including reviewing RFQs, tabulating bids, and evaluating vendor responses
Work with agency departments and vendors to support purchasing operations and procurement processes
Maintain procurement records, reports, files, and purchasing documentation for compliance and audit purposes
Assist with monitoring purchasing regulations, state contract requirements, vendor quotes, and statutory reporting activities
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 4 years of procurement experience.
Minimum 2 years of using CAPPS system for procurement.
Relevant experience purchasing in compliance with State of Texas requirements.
