Job Type: Long-Term Contract
Pay: $ 27.50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Typical 50-hour workweek | Start time between 6:00 AM–8:00 AM

About the Opportunity
Openwork is partnering with a leading industrial services company to identify an experienced Field Service Project Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity in La Porte, TX.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in project coordination, field service operations, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating projects from kickoff through completion while working closely with operations, customers, vendors, and field service teams.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate field service projects from initiation through completion.
  • Support Project Managers, Production Managers, Technical Representatives, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, documentation, and milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and internal stakeholders regarding project status and timelines.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal departments to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain project files, documentation, and electronic records.
  • Assist with planning resources, materials, and equipment needed for upcoming projects.
  • Help ensure projects are completed on schedule while meeting customer expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and established procedures.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, engineering, operations, or a related industrial environment.
  • Assign field service personnel to projects based on project requirements, schedules, and resource availability.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, lodging, transportation, and logistics for field service teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Strong customer service mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • General knowledge of rotating equipment, turbomachinery, or industrial equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
