Meador an Openwork Company is seeking dependable Production Operators / Transfer Press Operators for a manufacturing facility in the Houston area. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing or machine operating experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and committed to producing quality products safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hydraulic transfer presses used in rubber molding production
- Load molds and monitor cure times, temperatures, and pressure settings
- Inspect finished products using gauges and measuring tools
- Identify and report product defects or equipment issues
- Perform trimming, stacking, finishing, and packaging duties
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Clean, lubricate, and perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Move finished products to designated storage or shipping areas
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
- Ability to work a consistent 3rd shift schedule
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
