Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to for a production associate for a job in Spartanburg. As a production associate you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections and tests on material to ensure the finished product meets quality standards as well as setting up and running machinery for metal engraving. Responsibilities for this Inspector job include:
- Setup machinery to meet customer specifications and make adjustments as needed
- Load material in machines for production runs
- Visually inspect finished product to ensure they meets quality standards.
- Identify Issues and document the quality alerts
- Using micrometers and calipers to test and measure the finished product to ensure it meets specifications
- Compare inspections and test results to company standards
- Maintain quality records and data logs
Qualifications:
- Machine set up
- Experience in quality inspections or quality assurance
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers and micrometers
Climate controlled facility, with a great work life balance.
Shift Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday (Weekends as need and usually only for 2-3hrs paid for 4hrs and ALWAYS paid as DOUBLE TIME)
Pay Rate: $20/hr or more depending on experience
