Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Production Worker in Cumming, GA. In this hands-on and team-oriented role, you will be responsible for fabricating custom sports facility products, working with specialized equipment, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy and safety are essential. In a Production Worker job you’ll be responsible for:

• Fabricating and assembling custom sports facility products such as netting, padding, and windscreens
• Measuring, stretching, and cutting materials to precise specifications
• Operating equipment including grommet machines, hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines
• Retrieving materials and returning unused supplies to proper storage
• Folding, tying, and preparing finished products for shipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, using PPE and following safety procedures
• Working both independently and collaboratively depending on production needs

What you’ll need:

• Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions
• Physical capability to lift and pull up to 45 lbs., and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and stretching
• Comfort working in warehouse conditions impacted by outdoor temperatures
• Basic math and measurement skills for accurate cutting and assembly
• Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements and product quality
• Reliability and ability to follow directions and work with a team

Preferred:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
