Position Overview

We are hiring Production Associates for our paint line operations on first shift (day) and third shift (overnight). This physically active role supports the production team by loading, unloading, preparing, and inspecting parts for painting. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, good mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Pay Range: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Hang fabricated parts on a conveyor paint line according to specifications; remove parts after painting.

• Clean and prepare parts before hanging to ensure quality results.

• Use efficient methods to hang parts that maximize paint coverage and line capacity.

• Inspect hooks and tooling for wear or damage.

• Perform safety inspections on equipment; correct issues before operation.

• Check painted items for proper coverage and thickness.

• Assist with washer maintenance and general equipment upkeep.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Help train new team members on proper part handling and safety protocols.

Additional Duties:

• Continuously clean workstations and shared areas.

• Dispose of trash and scrap materials appropriately.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment preferred.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints or part specifications.

• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Able to read and follow operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals.

• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends based on production demand.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and crouching.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Work may involve exposure to metal parts, powder coating materials, and industrial cleaning chemicals.
