Openwork is currently assisting a local client fill a Product Manager in their Sink Division. This position is primarily responsible for for overseeing the product portfolio in the U.S.
market. This role combines technical development with market strategy, ensuring that our sink products meet customer needs, achieve compliance standards, and drive business growth.


Product Strategy & Development

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the sink category in the U.S.
• Lead the development and validation of new sink products tailored for North America.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify trends
and opportunities.
• Drive R&D initiatives in shapes, finishes, surface treatments, and assembly techniques.

Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of sink products, from concept through launch and post-launch.
• Monitor product performance, pricing, and profitability, making adjustments as needed.
• Oversee SKU rationalization and product portfolio optimization.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure sink products meet U.S. and Canadian certification requirements (e.g., cUPC,
IAPMO, ANSI, ISO).
• Oversee quality control systems, material testing, and best practices for packaging and
logistics.
• Support installation-friendly product design with a focus on durability and compliance.

Go-to-Market & Sales Support

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define product positioning, messaging, and
promotional plans.
• Provide product training and support to sales teams and distribution partners.
• Partner with supply chain to optimize product availability and inventory.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with global R&D, design, engineering, and operations teams to deliver
scalable products.
• Support U.S. market operations while aligning with global product development.
• Act as a key liaison for customer engagement, feedback collection, and technical
inquiries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management or development within kitchen & bath,
sanitaryware, or building materials.
• Strong background in sinks, ceramics, solid surface, composites, or mineral castings.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes, compliance standards, and certification processes.
• Experience with leading brands (e.g., Kohler, Moen, Delta, Blanco, Roca, Duravit,
Villeroy & Boch, Ideal Standard, Marmite) is a strong advantage.
• Proven success in market analysis, product strategy, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; able to collaborate in an international, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Strong negotiation and vendor management experience.
• Hands-on, creative problem solver with both strategic and executional skills.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and data analysis tools.
