Openwork is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team in Georgetown, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment, operating press brake machinery to fabricate metal cabinets and other sheet metal components. We have both 1st and 2nd shift openings, and pay is depending on experience. If you have experience with metal forming and are detail-oriented, we encourage you to apply today.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to fabricate metal cabinets and other sheet metal parts.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine material and specifications.

• Select and install proper tooling for each job to ensure accurate bends and cuts.

• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any mechanical issues.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety standards are followed.

• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals.

• Document production and quality control data as required.

Qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience operating press brake machinery, preferably in metal cabinet or sheet metal fabrication.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Solid understanding of metal types, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• Familiarity with CNC press brake machines is a plus.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
