Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Prepress Technician in Buford, GA. In this job, you will be responsible for preparing customer artwork and digital files for commercial printing, ensuring files meet production specifications for quality, color accuracy, and press readiness. In a Prepress Technician job, you’ll be responsible for:

Performing basic file setup and edits using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Suite

Preparing proofs for customer approval

Verifying job specifications before production

Meeting production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Following company safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area

Performing other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Creative Suite required

Commercial printing or graphic arts experience is a plus

Ability to distinguish colors and fine print detail

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, frequently use a computer, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
