Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a Part time detail oriented Plan Review Analyst in The Woodlands, TX. In this reliable and detail-focused role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the property database, ensuring it is regularly reviewed and updated to improve customer service. Manage document storage maintained in the database and property files. Provide technical review of all applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 

 

 In a Plan Review Analyst job, you’ll be responsible for: 

• Provide technical review and assistance on construction and building plans and assists staff, residents and contractors in technical areas of the standards. Read and interpret documents such as Covenants, Residential Development Standards, building codes, plans for improvements, blueprints and other technical documents. 

• Problem solve to ensure productive techniques to evaluate the improvement of recommended strategies and programs, including the use of various problem solving and productivity techniques such as process mapping and cost time management. 

• Support other departmental functions providing reports and information from the department's property database. 

• Digitize building plans and determine living area, hard surface area and water surface area. 

• Review improvement applications for compliance with the different Covenants, Standards, and criteria, interpretations. 

• Coordinate with directors and supervisors to ensure department goals, objectives, processes, and priorities are being met and/or followed. 

• Provide primary customer service, administrative, operational and staff support for the Covenant Administration application unit. 

• Review and revise procedures and application forms on an ongoing basis. 

• Work cross-functionally with other units of the Covenant Administration Department as needed. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite applications. 

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must be able to draft reports, business correspondence, draft, review and revise legal documents and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. 

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 

•  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must be innovative, a flexible problem solver and strategic thinker. 

• Work may require providing advice to others outside direct reporting relationships on specific problems or general policies. Contacts may require the consideration of different points of view to reach agreement.

SCHEDULE: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm M-F

HOURLY RATE: $18/HR

Job Length: 6 - 8 Week Assignment
